Meadowlands SAPS spokeswoman Sergeant Octavia Thebe told Daily Sun that the 24-year-old woman was found dead with a gunshot wound on the forehead at Dube Hostel in Soweto earlier today, 2 November.

She also revealed that the body of the deceased was found half-naked.

“According to the information given by one of the witnesses, the deceased had argued with her boyfriend before her death,” said Thebe.

“The suspect was traced and arrested. The 27-year-old man will appear in court soon,” said Thebe.
